Castlemaine rod shop designed this kit years ago,
thanks to a set of k frame spacers will allow the engine to sit under the bonnet.
When using the k frame spacers you will also need to space the steering shaft, we have a steering linkage kit that is included but this requires modifications to fit.
A new sump and pick up is also included to suit the chev in to commodore, please work out what Rear main seal and dipstick location you need.
Extractors to suit either power steering or manual steering set ups are included, TRI Y - 1 5/8” x 1 ¾” x 2 ¼”
Please note the Extractors are different for Power and Manual steering
You will need a left hand starter motor conversion for this conversion.
Rod shop don't do a left-hand side starter for this conversion - (C.A.E performance offer one that will work).
When fitting sbc to early commodore firewall and tunnel will need slight modifications.
If this is going to be a Road Registered vehicle, Before purchasing anything for this conversion we strongly suggest consulting an Engineer in your state.
